We only use the finest grade of mohair for our socks.  Additionally, mohair fiber has a smooth surface, making it easier on the skin when compared to wool.

Gentle elastic to prevent slouching. A version with no elastic is available by special order for those with circulatory restrictions or wide calves - please contact us.

Mohair is the "diamond fiber" because of its strength and shininess.  It will outlast other natural fibers under the same wear conditions.  Most customers get years of wear out of their socks.

Mohair is an excellent insulator on its own, and when coupled with our looped knit our socks are especially insulating. As warm as wool but lighter weight, mohair will keep you warm even when damp.

Mohair is naturally moisture wicking and resists odour.  Hikers and campers wear them for days stink-free!

Our toe seams are minimal so that you won't feel them. Our socks are sized and have a proper heel for a good fit.
